Fundraising
Fundraising done by PAAPO is used to support school activities and provide enhancements to Portland Arthur Academy.
During the 2009-2010 school year PAAPO’s fundraising focus will be on providing computers for the students in each classroom. Your support is necessary if we are going to provide these valuable resources for the students at Portland Arthur Academy.
Money raised by PAAPO during the 2008-2009 school year paid for an in school visits by The Reptile Man and OMSI’s Science Circus, a hands-on Lego Robotics Class for every grade, a field trip for the entire school to the see the Oregon Symphony perform, a Fun Fair on the last day of school and co-sponsored an all Arthur Academy Family Night at OMSI.
In previous years PAAPO has paid for a cover for 1/2 of the playground, classroom items, books and book cases for the library, room air conditioners, field trips fun events for the children.
