Battle Of The Books
The battle of the books is a state wide reading competition that is held in March and April for 3rd to 5th graders. Students prepare by reading from a list of 16 books and compete as a team by answering questions about the books they read.
An after school Battle Of The Books Club meets starting in the Fall. Students from the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade are welcome to attend.
Below is a partial list of the books for the 2010-2011 Oregon Battle Of The Books; the complete list will be posted once it is available. Please encourage your children to read these books and participate in the after school club. Your child can check these books out of the local or school libraries or you can purchase them below to help support our school.
